The exciting story of the Pelayo family becomes a film at the Gran Casino Costa Brava.

The Pelayos is a Spanish film directed by Eduard Cortés and starring Daniel Brühl, Luis Homar, Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Blanca Suárez, among others, based on the true story of the family of Gonzalo García-Pelayo, who managed to unseat casinos around the world with a legal method, based on the imperfection of roulette.

Filming lasted eight weeks, three of which were spent in Lloret de Mar, mainly at the Gran Casino Costa Brava in Lloret, one of the most modern gambling complexes in Europe, with its unique architecture.

During filming, it was common to see one of the main actors, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, running along Lloret beach and the coastal paths.
